-RBs Armoni Goodwin and Josh Williams, both recovering from injury, were at practice but both weren't in full pads.

-RB John Emery Jr is still away from the team as he rights his academic ship.

-DEs Coach John Jancek lit into his group at one point, being the most vocal on the practice field. "That isn't good enough! This is fucking LSU!" He reportedly said.

-the DE tier right now appears to be Oghoufo, a player intrinsically trusted by Brian Kelly, Swinson and freshman Jaxon Howard.

-Inside, we saw Saivion Jones, Jacobian Guillory at the nose and Paris Shand all grouped together as the first team DL unit.

-Freshman DE Quency Wiggins stuck out and cuts an imposing figure with a rare combination of extreme length and strength.

-Freshman CB Javien Toviano once again was with the first team, Denver Harris with the second, while Zy Alexander took the other flank for the 1st team.

-QB Garrett Nussmeier was out there throwing once again during media availability and beyond, proving his injury is only a minor setback.

He still continues to showcase his passing prowess and even quicker release.

Garrett's platform is smoother, too.

-RB Trey Holly is in line for playing time in year 1. He's been that consistent and eager to learn through his first 3 LSU practices, earning respect and plaudits from Brian Kelly already.

If health at running back continues to be an issue, or John Emery Jr can't figure out the academic situation he finds himself in, Holly may very well take his record breaking LHSAA career to Death Valley in year one.

-LB Harold Perkins received work on the interior at middle linebacker.

-LSU's offensive line is in poor shape with Miles Frazier missing in action and Charles Turner still nursing an injury. The Tigers are down numbers in Spring at offensive line, but luckily Mason Lunsford will come in as a much needed reinforcement.
