During his 7 touchdown performance at the Overtime 7 v 7 tournament in Phoenix, 2024 LSU commit constantly targeted elite WR prospect Cam Coleman.

The pair pulled off one stunning exhibition of football mastery after another, asking the tantalizing question: "Could the two become teammates at LSU???"

Well, we asked Colin Hurley himself:

LONN: Do you think Cam will head to LSU, Colin??

COLIN HURLEY:

It’s too early to tell. He’s still got to visit a few other schools and I respect and understand that. He deserves to go through the process. I know this, having went through it myself.

I do feel LSU is, or will be, one of the schools “in the mix” for his commitment. He’s a special talent and athlete.

I feel I have a good rapport and connection with him. I know he sees my talent and abilities, which I feel are unmatched in the ‘24 Class and I’ve made it clear to him that I’d like him to join me in Baton Rouge to bring a Natty to LSU. I absolutely want him to play at LSU, along with the other top recruits we’re putting together for the Class of 2024. There are some real dudes there and Cam would only make us stronger.

I know the LSU Coaches and Recruiting Staff are equally as high on him, so we have to let it play out, but be active in our pursuit of him.

There are some other serious schools contending for him, but I believe LSU can compete with those programs. It’s Death Valley. It’s the SEC. It’s Coach Brian Kelly. It’s the fanbase. It’s me throwing the ball to him. It’s LSU Football.
