HOW HIS ROLE HAS CHANGED FROM LAST FALL TO THIS SPRING (Garland Gillen, Fox):

"I mean comin' in, I didn't really know what to expect but now that I've played a whole season I kinda know what to expect. We didn't really have an off-season, so this is really my first real off-season in my life."

HIS RECORD-BREAKING 308 YARD PERFORMANCE VS OLE MISS (Shea Dixon, 247):

"It gave me a lot of confidence throughout the season. But then knowing the target will be on my back next year and a lot of people remember what I did in that game...so, knowing coming into next season I gotta be better..."

HOW THE OFFENSE LOOKS THUS FAR:

"Coach Peetz came in with a good game-plan, he kind of moved everybody around getting everybody familiar with the offense....adding new stuff, trying to get everybody the ball, get good looks and make big plays."

WHAT HE'S NOTICING FROM THE QBs (Billy Embody, 247):

"They're all working hard, that's what I could see it's going to be a good competition..."

ASKED TO ELABORATE MORE ON QBs:

"I like the way they ALL throw the ball...and in the receiving room, we motivate each other to catch every ball. We do this thing after practice where whoever have the most drops got to do a certain amount of pushups....because we hold each other to a certain standard."

ASKED IF HE'S HAD TO DO ANY PUSHUPS YET:

"No sir."

ABOUT SUMMER OF 10,000 CATCHES:

"I think I'm at 5,400 right now....and Koy's at 6,500...."

WHAT DOES THE 10,000 CATCHES MARK DO FOR YOUR IMPROVEMENT?:

"Uh, I mean catching a certain amount of balls it kinda helps you in the game. You put the speed high on the jugs, the ball's come faster so when the quarterbacks throw it to you it's easier. It's really a matter of focus: like we use tennis balls, toss them back and forth different directions, clockwise, counterclockwise....it's just focus.

WHAT RELATIONSHIPS ARE YOU BUILDING AT THE QB SPOT?:

"Everybody's really stepping out...Garrett came in good as a freshman. He kind of throwing some good balls, making some big plays. He's doing his thing, I look forward to seeing him play."
