LSU'S NEXT 2021 O-LINE TARGET

by LONN PHILLIPS SULLIVAN

Out of Katy, Texas from Taylor High, Bryce Foster appears to be an intense target for LSU as James Cregg and Greg McMahon fight off Bill Bedenbaugh's overloaded offensive line corps at Oklahoma.

I'm hearing there's a lot of time spent on Foster's commitment, which will geaux down tomorrow as he announces who will win his signature: LSU, Oklahoma, or Josh Henson's Texas A&M.

The Taylor High senior is an unfathomable behemoth, 6 foot 4 and 330 lbs of pure ultra-mass-fantastic, a bludgeoning inside punch and a gut-checking leverage dominion which embarrasses his opponents often.

Foster is the 6th overall ranked guard in the country, 113 ranked national overall player and is officially a 4 star but when you watch him fight off interior linemen like swatting flies, it's very entertaining...he's really as close to a 5 star as possible and I think is deserving of that title.

But who cares in the end, because the main titles to be won remain on the field and LSU is pushing harder for Bryce. If Leigh is going to come and dominate in Baton Rouge, he's going to need help.

Imagine Bryce Foster and Tristan Leigh next to each other with Garrett Dellinger on the opposite flank.... that would be a dominant establishment for the future of James Cregg's Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line.

VERDICT: I'm told that Foster is getting closer to signing to LSU as he leans between the Tigers, Riley's scattershot Sooners' class or Texas A&M who are highly favored to win his signature.

Foster would see valuable playing time early, especially if he's impressed the staff. His signing could spell the end for a guy like Anthony Bradford who for some reason hasn't seen the field enough this past year.

Rarely do I put much stock in measureables, but I do here...Bryce is outrageous. A true mastodon of an offensive lineman and one whom LSU MUST pursue and win at all costs tomorrow.

This is a good ol' fashioned LSU vs A&M war...and one I think either team could win as Foster seems to be another young man who's torn.

I feel A&M will pull Bryce's signature away from LSU at the 11th hour, however if James Cregg pulls this off, it would be a major victory for a 2021 class that's solidifying by the day, perhaps with some faces LSU fans are new to, but nonetheless brilliant players if you've been paying attention to recruiting for the past few seasons.

Bryce is a dynamic savage on the inside....one who may just pull Tristan Leigh ever closer to Baton Rouge.
