-IMG's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ safety Kamari Wilson thoroughly enjoyed his visit, of course including mini golf alongside Bishop Verot's underrated ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chris "CG1 / Uno" Graves Jr, a CB playing WR and ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr Phillips LB Demario Tolan, all hosted by an unnamed pair of Tigers I'm told I cannot name yet.

Reason why? No idea.

Kamari had ample time talking with defensive coordinator Daronte Jones, hanging out with none other than surprise Friday morning visiting LB Harold Perkins, the pair of 5 star families getting to know each other, snapping photos with former Tiger DB and current DBU Assistant Dwayne Thomas. Kamari, Harold and his Uncle Kevin posed for shots, too!

Harold's Uncle Kevin Thomas is a proud 504 native and a friend of the Odyssey. Naturally, he's a die hard New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers fan.

Let's say it: If Perkins comes to LSU, his Uncle will have played a major role.

As for both of these impressive young men, each ranked as 5 star recruits, the road to an LSU commitment may still be a ways away as the families will continue their visits....however, my sources tell me this:

-Harold continues to return because he feels comfortable in the environment at LSU, both competitive on the field and unifying off. And he may not be finished touring LSU...

Whether his commitment takes time or he pulls off a quick decision, Perkins will definitely have LSU in his top 2 at the least until the very end of the process.

He's had a great time with Blake Baker, having fun and raising his game to its optimum out there during workouts, wanting to give his all for the coach.

He also had a great time being coached by Baker, a critical attribute for all LSU Tigers.

- Much is the same for Kamari:

Wilson enjoyed his time so much he took to social media, first with a series of tweets between himself and fellow 2022 5 star safety Jacoby Mathews.

Mathews recruited Kamari through a tweet showing both photos of each 2022 safety clad in purple & gold.

Interestingly, the IMG safety then put LSU in his Instagram bio, deleted photos of his visit to Florida (where he rocked Gators gear), and has continued to correspond with LSU commits, 2022 targets and Tiger fans over Twitter and Instagram.

LSU is trending big time for Wilson, defying "Recruiting Palpatine" Steve Wiltfong's crystal ball for Georgia.

Though it's still early in the process, LSU Odyssey's early, consistent and accurate reporting on Kamari Wilson continues to love Wilson in purple and gold:

Put LSU right at the top, either as the leader or tied for first right now as it stands.

The visit was "extremely positive" I've been told by a couple sources, detailing his "love for all things DBU" and Jones' "close relationship" with the young 5 star.

LSU didn't disappoint, pulling out all the stops for Wilson's visit.

UPDATE:

-I'm told LSU were able to have Kamari meet a "group" of current DBU stars, though we'll try and find out exactly which stars, we're thinking any from a list of Jay Ward, Derek Stingley Jr, Dwight McGlothern or potentially Eli Ricks....but we don't know that yet.

What I do know?

This meeting made a big impression on Kamari.

I think we'll see it pay dividends, but only time will tell the wisest🤔.
