I'm hearing from multiple Tigers sources that LSU's Offensive Guard Kardell Thomas will be leaving the program, joining RB Tre Bradford in the portal and his former OL Coach James Cregg as LSU representatives walking out the door.

Don't expect some 2020 exodus okay people...calm down...

But when a big time position coach leaves, usually one or two guys follow.

When I said to a distinguished LSU source "be sad to see Kardell go if this is true", that source said "I'm shocked he's still there" pointing with the affirmative as to what is possible in the future here.

I would say make a hard, solid bet that Kardell will be walking out the LSUHQ doors.

OL Coach James Cregg failed him in his development, Kardell had some online criticism coming his way from some Tigers fans (for his demeanor as well as on field production), but most of all, Thomas had a clear pathway to the field the past year and a half yet has still been left stuck in neutral.

Though he's fully recovered from his 2019 season-ending injury, Kardell seems to have remained stagnant, at least that we know of....Cregg didn't give us very many opportunities to see Kardell on the field.

If Kardell is to leave, I'll just look at that day in August 2019 and ask "what would've happened had Kardell never been hurt?"

This isn't confirmed news, but we'll let you know as soon as he is actively in the portal.

His name isn't in there, yet.
