BOLD: Indicates new walk-on addition to the squad this offseason

What immediately sticks out?

-Kevin Faulk's nephew Tavion comes out of Carencro High and has already become a welcome dual threat option within the LSU QBs room.

-Sage Ryan reprises his #15 from high school, of course....totally expected but still cool.

-Attempting to reprise Jabril Cox's "transfer LB turned NFL stud" trajectory, former Clemson title-winner Mike Jones Jr (also losing a title game to....uh...ya know....us) will also rock the #19 in the same brutality-fostering manner as Cox did last year.

-Jack Bech takes on #80 before dawning the #7 next year. He's also sitting at 207 pounds.

-Major Burns wears #28, creating shades of LSU's DBU legend at Free Safety Jalen Mills, a dynamic secondary machine who's still making high quality plays at the NFL level, enjoying a long career.

-LSU have grabbed a plethora of walk-on bodies for the linebacker and OL positions, filling up the depth barrel with as many local Louisiana workhorses as possible.

Three extra OL (Billedeaux (a teammate of Jack Bech & Walker Howard's from St Thomas More), Lanson Smith and Spencer Payne), three additional TEs (Charlie Drost, Caleb Bonine and Jake Chiasson), LBs grabbed 6 more bodies (Harris, Gibbs, Wright, McLaughlin, Jane, Blue), the secondary & DL each needed 3 further Tigers (headlined by former Rummel High Raider and Nicholls St All-American Quinton "Pig" Cage), Mickey Joseph's WRs room saw two more come into the picture, and Tavion Faulk provided one more QB after Marjory Stoneman Douglas walk-on Matt O'Dowd.

-From our walk-ons, there's some really strong value here to keep a firm eye on:

N/DB Quinton "Pig" Cage:

LSU Odyssey have covered Cage frequently, interviewing the Tiger on his first day within the program. He's ambitious, he's talented, he makes plays on the ball, and it seems every one of his teammates admire him.

OL Josh Billedeaux:

From St. Thomas More's back to back title-winning teams, Billedeaux was the foundation up front for a juggernaut offense featuring current Tigers Jack Bech, Carter Arceneaux and future Tiger Walker Howard. Billedeaux could really be a special player...if 2021 is too soon, than 2022 is definitely right in the timeline for him to take control of success.

WR Carter Arceneaux

Another STM prospect, Arceneaux was a great pickup in the walk-on circuit, adding even more depth and security at wide out.

I hope the young thundercat is given time and reps in the slot....his agility and complete will to win are hard to match....even tougher to cover or shut down.
