-DE J'Mond Tapp, a huge 2022 target for LSU, is at the Tigers' HQ for a private workout in front of DL Coach Andre Carter. LSU Odyssey is working on getting an interview with J'Mond, though we did have this exchange:
LONN: You've been all over the country lately, how's it been?
J'MOND: Really making me realize there's no place like home.
LONN: What made you feel that way?
J'MOND: Louisiana is its own culture (laughs).
- 4 star Lafayette Christian Academy CB Jordan Allen never heard from Corey Raymond about his offer, and we're feeling that ship has sadly sailed for the Bootlegger, although unfairly / harshly.......plus, there may be a new target potentially taking his spot:
-2022 Safety Azareyeh Thomas is being recruited by Raymond as a cornerback, and there seems to be an intense load of movement surrounding Thomas and an impending commitment from Niceville's 4 star. The converted cornerback would already have a teammate on roster in former high school teammate Kimo Makaneole, as well, however it seems to be Raymond's persistence in turning Thomas into a cornerback which has sold the best.
Thomas is going to commit to LSU soon, I just have a feeling about this.
