SPRING PRACTICE 2022 UPDATE

-LSU DT Jaquelin Roy was among 12 total players who missed practice on Saturday, as this author reported on that day in our Practice Notes piece.

We now know why, suffering a soft enough injury which has allowed him to return after a few days rest, participating in drills by himself while wearing a red non contact jersey.

-CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse is still out with an undisclosed injury, one he suffered almost two weeks ago.

-DB Jordan Toles continues to rep at cornerback.

-Yet another LSU Hall of Famer has joined the team for off season practices, legendary OL Kevin Mawae, which is no doubt a big deal for Brad Davis' under fire position group.

-Frank Wilson welcomed Leonard Fournette back for the second time this off-season, visiting the Tigers' RBs room & imparting his wisdom.

- I talked to Mekhi Wingo about how Brian Kelly made sure his players were able to watch LSU's NFL Pro Day on Wednesday, and he's noted how inspired our current squad are by the Tigers going to the NFL before them.

Watch out for a big surprise coming to the site...

-I heard Maason Smith, Brian Thomas Jr, Malik Nabers, Xavier Hill and Garrett Nussmeier specifically enjoyed a strong afternoon of practice.
