- Over the weekend we watched as 2022 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ safety Kamari Wilson visited Georgia once again, this time as his lead pick before the end of the dead period.

He went all out, bringing his family with him in a large group, meeting Head Coach Kirby Smart for a photo op and taking damn near 1 hour and 30 minutes with a few UGA photographers.

Filmed on his IG, Kamari put on a show with a wide range of poses, looking more and more solidified as a Georgia lean and almost about to the point of being a commit.

His vibe was all UGA, saying "Go Dawgs" at every opportunity and really enjoying the enhanced attention.

I really think Kamari Wilson is now UGA's to lose, firmly. Not just because of one phenomenal visit, but because this is the second in a short time span where Wilson has really bought into their program seemingly.

As one family source said "Kamari feels at home here, and he likes the idea of going to Atlanta, that kind of stuff."

Another source indicated "he really admires LSU, but he said 'Georgia is not only closer to home, but more tailored to him personally'."

Still a long way to go, but LSU have plenty of ground to cover here.

- A forum rumor going around which has some meat to it:

When they had all the momentum in pursuit of Jacoby Mathews, supposedly a Texas A&M staffer "ripped on a current LSU Tiger", potentially a friend of Jacoby's and rubbed the 5 star Ponchatoula safety the wrong way. Mathews tweeted "true colors have been shown".

Very intriguing to say the least.

Will definitely keep you posted.

-2024 Woodlands High QB Mabrey Mettauer detailed his adventures in Baton Rouge to LSU Odyssey:

"I got to know Walker Howard, Quency Wiggins and Will Campbell. Coach O grabbed me when I came in & I spent most of the time talking with Coach Peetz.

The staff watched my Elite 11, Under Armour All-American, & my HUDL film as a staff & told me I had good body control for a guy my size at 15.

We were all teammates in a trivia game, where we won against all the recruits.

My trivia wasn't anything to brag on, but it was good bonding with coaches and players.

Then I played a little spike ball with Quency."
