As all LSU Tigers fans hunger for the first Spring passes from powerhouse freshman QB Walker Howard, they'll be forced to wait just a bit longer.
Heading into Walker's debut season at Louisiana State University, the former St Thomas More QB will have to heal from yet another injury:
Howard is nearly done healing from his fractured fibula, suffered against Ruston midway through his senior season, although he has a new issue which was just worked on this weekend.
Our sources within the St Thomas More community informed us that Walker's thumb needed a corrective operation on Friday, and now in the wake of that surgery, Howard will return in 6-8 weeks; still, Brian Kelly won't be allowing Walker to throw the football until the second half of Spring practice begins.
