LSU LINEUP CHANGES AFOOT FOR NICHOLLS & BEYOND

According to multiple LSUOdyssey sources, the Tigers are practicing with some new updates to their lineups on both sides of the ball following an excruciating loss to USC and ahead of an encounter vs in state minnows Nicholls.

As LSUOdyssey reported earlier, left guard Garrett Dellinger is officially listed as questionable for the game after sustaining a concussion vs USC (Head Coach Brian Kelly later confirmed), with Tyree Adams practicing in his spot.

Now, we've received a few new sources adding to our information stockpile, this time concerning Sage Ryan's movement from cornerback to his natural position of safety, even adding reps as a nickel.

Freshman PJ Woodland is set to move into the other cornerback spot opposite Stamps, while I'm hearing from one of the same sources that there is a growing buzz about WR Jelani Watkins returning, slowly but surely, from his Fall Camp injury.....

The Watkins piece of news I am yet to confirm, though. Another young WR, Shelton Sampson, should be a "focal point" as Head Coach Brian Kelly said at a press conference this week, all to replace the still injured Chris Hilton Jr, likely being saved for South Carolina due to a bone bruise on his foot.

Kyren Lacy rolled his ankle in practice, but he's fine though all precautions were taken. Rumors of a Lacy injury had a sliver of truth, just not the whole kernel and not the right context.

We're also receiving word that linebacker Whit Weeks will see his snaps double vs Nicholls, supplying the Oconee High product a chance to really make his mark & send his name to the top of the list.

I am a little confused. Didn’t you mean Woodland would slide in opposite Stamps? I sure hope so.
