Announcing his commitment tomorrow, we feel Damari is reading the writing on the wall: When Trevonte Citizen committed to LSU, he began ratcheting up his talks with Auburn to a fever pitch, seeing that his pathway to the field would be greatly blocked by LSU's Citizen project....let alone the freshmen duo of Kiner & Goodwin.

We're thinking Alston is buying into Bryan Harsin's project, especially considering his position as the #1 back of their class & the team's necessary lean on the run game.

Alston is now out of the LSU take section
for us now....there's just too much talk of even Le'veon Moss joining this group for him to feel comfortable about being the #1 guy at LSU, let alone having a guaranteed spot.

Not saying Moss is a definitive flip back to LSU, I just feel things with Alston have altered during July.

Alston flirted with the Tigers for some time, but over the past month Auburn have made a great push for him. Then once Citizen committed to the Tigers, Alston seemed to shut down his intense communication with LSU's Kevin Faulk.

Our updated pick? Auburn, due to the RB room shifting back towards LSU's local Louisiana running back talent.
