After missing the entirety of the 2018 season, Ed "Mr. Evernasty" Ingram has returned to claim the starting position which he owned for most of the 2019 title-winning year, bulldozing stunting D-Ends at left guard and providing steady protection for Joe Burrow.

Ingram is a sure-fire NFL talent...losing him during 2018 really cost LSU's offensive line...ever since, Ed has made amends in the aftermath of every feverish knockdown block he's thrown.

Over the last 10 months, Mr. Evernasty became Mr. Reliable, too, coming into the 2019 CFP Semifinal vs Oklahoma after only 4 snaps, replacing the injured guard Damien Lewis (now playing for the Seattle Seahawks) in a game which turned out to be an offensive master class the likes of which collegiate sports had never seen before...and Ed was apart of it all, 68 total snaps propelling Burrow's rampage.

When Ingram first appeared vs Utah State during a week 4 match-up at Death Valley, the occasion was Ed's first game since 2017 and he announced himself to a whole new audience, fortifying a place on Coach O's roster upon his first return to game-day action.

            Now, he's reborn:

Ed Ingram is already a national champion, he should start next season at LSU, and has a great chance to play in the NFL....

This is why we love LSU:

There's stories of pure redemption, truth and consequences or high stakes football under the beer-drenched purple and gold haze of Death Valley's Saturday night lights... and then there are instances where humans overcome everything, right before their (and our) very eyes...geauxing above and beyond their wildest dreams...

....and we love those moments most.

PROJECTIONS: Starting left guard,

Mr. Evernasty is a necessity upon James Cregg's offensive line.
