LSU GAIN MAJOR 2024 LB COMMIT: KOLAJ COBBINS WILL STAY HOME

On Friday night, LSU grabbed a major commitment for their 2024 class:

The 9th member of the class thus far, Destrehan LB Kolaj Cobbins, is a ruthless, versatile, extremely athletic defensive force, and his commitment arrives right on cue, not only due to his obvious pedigree or LSU's need for linebackers, the Tigers are set to lose an existing 2024 linebacker commitment soon.

Regardless of depth, Cobbins was already a Tiger target who became an absolute must for the program:

Fending off Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas among many other schools, LSU's defensive assistants (John Jancek & Matt House) worked alongside their recruiting staff to secure the hometown linebacker's commitment.

Right in the face of deep competition, LSU kept the highly coveted, hometown linebacking prospect home.

In his future, Cobbins could become a potential mastermind on the field, able to attack from the edge or inside, possessing a moldable 6'3 210 pound frame with abundant strength, turbulent pace, premium violence in the hit, while exuding total athleticism and aggression, Kolaj has done it all at Destrehan High with one more year remaining to make an even bigger impact.

Adding to a group that's already a top ten recruiting class, 2024 LSU is shaping up to be another elite signing squad under Brian Kelly's regime; due to Cobbins' commitment, the Tigers' future at linebacker appears to be healthier than forecasted.
