Following the epic commitment of WR Shelton Sampson Jr, on the heels of a tremendous July recruiting season which catapulted Brian Kelly's inaugural class into the top 10 of every recruiting machine ranking in America, LSU's recruiting staff aren't resting on any laurels:

In fact, this class may just become one of the highest ranking cycles in LSU Tigers' history if the program's positive momentum continues through fall, particularly against top rivals such as Alabama, Florida and A&M.

With Zachary High's safety Kylin Jackson announcing this coming Saturday, while Woodlawn QB Rickie Collins will be making his decision on Wednesday evening, LSU stand to gain even more ground on the top 5 from a pair of elite in-state recruits.

Both appear to be Tigers, though Jackson is the one I would have a tiny bit of doubt (and i mean microscopic) concerning his conmitment, all due to LSU's possible safety-heavy 2023 room and A&M's cash flow; As for the Woodlawn quarterback, Collins is all LSU.

Yet another could be joining LSU very soon, Texas-born cornerback Javien Toviano, a big favorite of CBs Coach Robert Steeples.

Holding offers and significant interest from every top program in America, with many suspecting Texas A&M were in the lead, Toviano's actions are supporting an LSU commitment more and more by the day.

High and likely OL Lance Heard is close to a decision, as well, Brad Davis battling against Napier's Florida among others for the Neville kingpin's signature.

There is also strong info coming my way detailing potential flips for two safeties, Bravion Rogers (who just Decommitted From A&M) and Texas commit Derek Williams.

Williams' flip could take clear until signing day, though I'm aware pulling the Westgate prodigy from Sarkisian's Texas is still a high priority move for DB Coach Kerry Cooks and Recruiting Mastermind Frank Wilson.

I'm told Rogers could make his decision imminently, with a flurry of behind the scenes activity from LSU headed his way & turning his attention to Baton Rouge.

Could LSU grab commitments and eventually sign every one of these 5 star recruits?

After the fearlessness & relentless dedication we've seen from Brian Kelly's staff on the recruiting trail, yes they definitely could.

For all the talk of Brian Kelly's supposed "inability to recruit", for all the panic-stricken discussion concerning his ability to pull in top Louisiana prospects, here he is....grabbing Liberty Mag RB Kaleb Jackson from Alabama's clutches at the 11th hour, pulling elite St Augustine High OL Tyree Adams into the fold, sealing Catholic High's Shelton Sampson Jr (a receiver who would be committed to Alabama right now if it weren't for a regime change at LSU), now in a great position to sign highly possible silent commits Heard, Jackson, Collins and Toviano, with Rogers and Derek Williams also in tow down the road, the future for LSU's 2023 class isn't just bright....in his first season recruiting within the scorched earth prism of the SEC, we are talking about Brian Kelly making history at LSU....
