With 3 impending commitment announcements ahead for the 2025 class, LSU could pull in more unbelievable talents that would not only rock the boat as far as their 2025 class, but set up the 2024 class in a much better light, with the tantalizing future of a #1 QB, #1 WR and #1 RB all in the same cycle....

There is no doubting the 2025 recruiting class is full of a variety of extreme upper echelon talents, with LSU extremely fortunate to already have one on board in #1 WR Dakorien Moore (future superstar).....but of the 3 we will predict today, 2 stem from the state of Louisiana, plus a renegade #1 QB from Michigan......

HARLEM BERRY (DECEMBER 18th)

Harlem Berry, an elite, do-it-all back out of St Martin's Episcopal, choosing between LSU, Texas, and Florida, will decide his college future on Keith Richards' birthday, December 18th.

After racking up a 2,000 yard freshman year, Berry became an in-demand prospect by every top program in the country; Since then, he's only continued to produce remarkable numbers: 4,723 all purpose yards & 67 TDs over 2 varsity seasons.

Berry and RBs Coach Frank Wilson have already cultivated a tight bond over the past few years.....

Berry can see the blueprint, veterans leading the charge (the returning Logan Diggs, Tre Bradford), the incredible young talent around him (2023 class members Trey Holly, Kaleb Jackson, plus 2024 super-talent Caden Durham), the turbo-charged juggernaut offense Mike Denbrock utilizes (featuring plenty of balance and opportunities for RBs to make big time plays, especially inside the red zone), and I'm hearing Harlem wants in.

Berry is a longstanding LSU target, a versatile, incredibly productive, nationally-drooled over Louisiana native....the kind Frank WIlson specializes in signing, developing & setting up to succeed.

PICK: BERRY TO LSU

KEYLAN MOSES (NOVEMBER 30th)

Footballing rock star Keylan Moses, a top 10 2025 talent out of Louisiana, and yet another savage, uber-athlete who will play LB at the next level, will make his long-awaited move known on November 30th.

Possessed by the ability to cover, consume ball carriers, or chew up ground equally, Moses' commitment may be the most important of the 3 we're forecasting today.

Losing current starters Harold Perkins & Greg Penn III by the 2025 NFL Draft, stacking the linebacker position will be a huge must for the 2025 and 2024 classes.

We've seen the Tigers already gain commitments from top 2024 LBs Davhon Keys, Tylen Singleton, and Deebo Atkins, while 2023 freshman Whit Weeks started a few games this season and impressed throughout (never totaling less than 9 tackles, and even leading the team in tackles vs Miss St, Ole Miss and Mizzou).

It's time for LSU to add that big time piece for their 2025 LB room;

While the names listed above are fantastic, fascinating prospects who will no doubt bolster that room right when it needs it most (Keys & Singleton specifically intrigue me, while Weeks should've started every game in 2023 as a freshman), U-High's Keylan Moses is needed to bridge it all together from 2023 into 2025 and beyond in the "post-Perkins era".

Moses sounds to me like a guy who wants to lead that charge...."Harold who????" he defiantly asks as he pulls off another athletically insane play.

That doesn't sound like someone born to follow.....and from my perspective, that's the exact vibe Keylan has always displayed.

Also, the future of Matt House doesn't throw Keylan's decision into doubt, though it's uncertain how close the bond is between LSU's under-fire defensive coordinator and the 2025 linebacker.

PICK: MOSES TO LSU

BRYCE UNDERWOOD (JANUARY 6th)

Here we geaux.....the #1 QB in America, Bryce Underwood will make his move to either LSU, Alabama, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State or Florida State....and January 6th is the decision day for the Michigan-native.

Despite watching his home-state Wolverines surge into a "CFP Playoff perennial" over the past few seasons under Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, Underwood's attention and visits tell a whole different story than a simple surface examination.

Hunting for his 3rd straight state championship among Michigan's Division I, Underwood has thrown over 2,500 yards, 35+ touchdowns and rushed for 6+ rushing scores in each of his last 2 seasons, now Bryce is eclipsing all of his prior on-field production:

Over 12 games in 2023, Underwood tossed 2,967 passing yards, 37 TD passes and only 2 interceptions, recording 4 games of 300+ passing yards, as well as another 4 appearances where Belleville's QB completed 80% of his passes or higher.

Underwood is tight with Joe Sloan, but who isn't?

What's more, through the prism of Jayden Daniels' 2023 season, Bryce can see the trajectory of LSU's very bright future at the QB position.

I think a Daniels Heisman would go a long, long way to securing Underwood....but it's not necessary, not after Underwood witnessed Jayden's season-long growth and extreme development under QBs Coach Joe Sloan, offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock, offensive specialist Dean Petzing and Head Coach Brian Kelly.

Daniels arrived at LSU in need of guidance....his career needed a kickstart to the heart.

LSU were desperate for a quarterback, a leader, a young man who could accept criticism, who could learn from his mistakes and become that steam-breathing game-changer from year 1 to year 2.

I'm told Underwood is extremely intrigued by Daniels' story, alongside LSU's peerless QB brand over recent years, telling a source close to the family: "they could have 2 Heisman winners in 4 years, and the 2 best to ever do it there"....

We could see the QBU trajectory of Joe Sloan's room become a big selling point, but remember, this is a move from the Northern-most state clear down to Baton Rouge.....a move that almost never materializes.

However, Bryce has a few key Michigan examples to call upon when wondering about how Midwesterners acclimate to Baton Rouge, including 2 current Tigers: starting OL Garrett Dellinger, 2022 starting OL, 2019 National Champion Anthony Bradford, and kicker Nathan Dibert.

Throughout his visit in the summer, I was told "he's a lot more into LSU than people think" by every source I've dealt with; Now, as I talk more with player and family, it appears there's strong truth to that assertion as certain dominos begin to fall into place:

Another 2025 signal caller, highly-rated 4 star Carter Smith, just committed to Michigan....plus, for anyone poo-pooing the idea of Underwood at LSU, I say this:

The Tigers were able to pull off multiple Underwood visits this cycle, both in the summer & fall, while Bryce lives literally 15 minutes away from Michigan's campus and hasn't visited once during a season of major program fanfare.......

PICK: UNDERWOOD TO LSU

Yes I know, it's a gamble....it may blow up in my face, but I feel LSU have fulfilled every need on Bryce's checklist, continuing to show him they are the current hot spot for dual-threat QB development.

The long move from Michigan down to Baton Rouge doesn't rule him out, although it does make it more difficult to seal the deal here, and in crunch time, those heartstrings are always tugged at........regardless, of his final options, he will have to travel long distances anyway (Alabama, Oregon, Florida State etc), so it's not a deal-breaker and shouldn't be considered part of the narrative here.

Why I feel the #1 2025 QB will be a Tiger?

Because if I'm a quarterback with the background & skill-set of Jayden Daniels, Rickie Collins, Colin Hurley, or Bryce Underwood, I see how Sloan, Denbrock & LSU's massive program resources maximized Jayden Daniels' abilities, while their social media machine & creative department heightened his visibility to fans & NFL scouts, making damn sure Daniels' every move was documented in the most stunning way possible, branding him as a college football icon before the world.

I want that kind of representation.

I want to be part of that kind of program.

I want that kind of development.

I want to play for those guys.

I want to make plays on the biggest stages possible.....and here we are, let's geaux.
