Following Corey Raymond's move to Florida, there were some palpable worries regarding the Acadiana corner's commitment; however....after a long talk with returning recruiting mastermind Frank Wilson, both the star cornerback & his family are now set to sign next Wednesday for the Tigers.

It appears QB Walker Howard has told Head Coach Brian Kelly that he will be signing with the Tigers next Wednesday, making the 15th a historical day for LSU history: potentially signing up to 3 maybe even 4 or more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ talents, including 3 inside the state of Louisiana alone on the same day.

Kinda crazy that 2021 Catholic High State Champion OL Emery Jones isn't even a name within those 5 stars, remaining a high 4 somehow...

As Tiger Details' Jimmy Smith said that Shazz Preston's meeting with Frank Wilson at St James High and other locales, I was able to confirm that through St James High Head Coach Robert Valdez.

As to whether that will turn Preston's head, I believe LSU's best hope right now would be if Shazz waited to sign until February.....giving Brian Kelly's new offensive staff at least a shot.

Good news for LSU:

After defensive coordinator Mike Elko's departure from Texas A&M left ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #1 overall LB Harold Perkins and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ponchatoula High safety Jacoby Mathews in a lurch, there remains every chance the Tigers' mad-dawg recruiting staff can sell their vision.

Led by Kelly himself, Frank Wilson, and Brian Polian, while the position coaches partner up with J.R Belton, Mason Smith, and new DBs Coach Kerry Cooks hit the ground running, don't act like we haven't seen it before: whether there's an unsettled staff or not, if you can sell and back up the vision, you can still recruit at the highest level, especially when your competitors lose possibly more crucial pieces than the Tigers have.

-The recruits partnered up with various hosts, including Andre Anthony, Jack Bech, Kardell Thomas, among others.

When I asked OL Emery Jones how the weekend was going so far, he said: "Great. (I think we have a chance with) all of 'em."
