-QB Jayden Daniels entered the game yesterday with an ankle injury and both ankles taped. during a few sacks, Daniels was put in a compromising position with his ankles, continuously hobbling or taking time to rise to his feet. He had an incredible first two quarters passing the ball, but unfortunately, his dual threat abilities were cut out of the picture. Still a gutty performance, but was he healthy enough to even start this game?

Whether Daniels returns or not for next season, I think we should expect him to miss the bowl game, unless his health greatly improves.

-WR Jack Bech broke his index finger on the interception play, getting surgery on Monday, which was a successful operation.

-WR Brian Thomas Jr shouldn't be available for the bowl game, as he had his arm / shoulder messed up on a diving attempt for a touchdown, late in the SEC title game. Brian came up to see his parents after the game and seemed to be in considerable pain, most likely on painkillers of some sort due to the immense pain (anyone who's ever had a separated shoulder etc understands how painful it is).

His parents asked him how his arm / shoulder was and he shook his head and looked away, quiet as usual for BTJ.

-OL Garrett Dellinger left the game with a relapse of one of his injuries, either knee or hand...hard to tell as he wasn't noticeably limping. He was replaced by Miles Frazier.

-CB Mekhi Garner was roughed up early, though he returned and played strong football. No word on his status coming up, although we could see Mekhi forego the bowl game & declare for the NFL Draft as soon as possible. We likely have seen his last game.
