Yes....the unthinkable, the unimaginable has happened:

As if we are living through one giant pipe dream, LSU has hired Ed Orgeron back on to its staff after 5 years away, with Lane Kiffin hiring Orgeron as a special assistant to recruiting and defense.

In a wild return, the former National Championship winning 2019 Head Coach comes back to the university following his late 2021 firing.

During recent times, Orgeron was seen around the school and campus for the first time since his ouster, including a game at The Box to see LSU Baseball.

Kiffin coached alongside Orgeron at USC and Tennessee, now rekindling their relationship at LSU in what is the most incredible re-hire we've seen in an offseason full of 'em in Baton Rouge, including the returns of Will Wade, Jonny Jones, James Cregg and now Ed Orgeron to campus.

I love the hire....this is a great move of reconciliation, while simultaneously gathering yet another high level, vastly experienced assistant in Orgeron, stacking LSU's football staff and recruiting possibilities with more potent pedigree and star power than we've seen at LSU....since Orgeron created the 2019 Tigers.

Here we go....

LSUOdyssey LIVE will have a special edition of the show to dissect this decision even more.

LET'S GEAUX!!!!
