You could pick your poison with any of LSU's divine freshmen rereceivers as a possible breakout this fall, with Shelton Sampson Jr, Kyle Parker and Khai Prean all making LSU nation very excited for the future of WRU.

Still, for me Jalen Brown is the most enticing debutant WR prospect, becoming one of the most gushed over receivers throughout Spring.

He is fully healed from the hamstring injury that plagued his Spring Game, a day where he received 0 targets but still played; Had it not been for his injury, Brown would've been the talk of the Spring Game.

Instead, he was completely taken out of the firing line while still given an opportunity to see the field.....translation: WRs Coach Cortez Hankton understands the talent he has on his hands. They knew he needed reps, yet they also made sure he didn't aggravate his hamstring, keeping him fresh for fall camp.

Despite his raw profile and development, Brown can truly peel the top off of any secondary due to his blazing video game pace, possessing physical hands, an extremely high contested catch rate, the moves after the catch to run defenders ragged, plus the strength to fight off or drag would-be tacklers & make tough catches across the middle.

Watch #14 closely as fall wears on; though he still needs to add weight and muscle, Brown is a talent analysts or opposition defensive coordinators may dismiss at their own peril.

I hope we get to see some of his talent displayed in Fall camp. He is a talent for sure. What potential in this WR room.
