With so many appointments for this or this and that and that every single day, multiple times a day this week, I have a half finished crappy article and that's it, so what I will do is post this:
I absolutely love games like this (#LSU vs McNeese)....we get to take a breather after only 4 games & bask in the season itself, get to find out EXACTLY how deep this team is, what our depth can do, and it's a good chance to pad the stats hardcore....all while taking McNeese seriously and giving them complete respect by playing hard....but #1????
NO INJURIES. NO INJURIES. NO INJURIES........
5 Things I Think We'll See from LSU vs McNeese
#1. Sam Leavitt Hot Early & Then Kiffin Gets Him the Hell Outta There After 2-3 scoring Drives. Then, 2nd string QB Landen Clark puts up 111 rushing yards, 1 rushing score and 2 passing TDs.
#2. Davhon Keys Dominance: I expect him to play probably just 2 quarters, however, I expect to see Davhon forcing a fumble, racking up 8+ tackles & keeping the Tigers' defense ticking.
#3 LSU's defense creates 4 turnovers, inc. 2 INTs (1 each from Ty Benefield & PJ Woodland) alongside 2 fumbles (Davhon Keys & Princewill Umanmielen, recoveries by Geralds & Dylan Carpenter), and drills McNeese QBs for 6 sacks (1 by Princewill, 1 by Jordan Ross, 2 by Dominick McKinley & 2 by Dylan Carpenter)
#4 TWO 100+ Yard receiving outings, 1 by Winnie Watkins & another from freshman WR Corey Barber, also scores his first LSU TD!!!
#5 LSU rush for over 200 yards, Harlem Berry leading all rushers w/ 157 on the ground & 2 TDs.
LSU win 58-0
WE WILL BE LIVE W/ A POSTGAME SHOW & ARTICLE SATURDAY NIGHT!!! BUCKLE UP!!!
