The skyscraping, aerially dominant Ahmad Hudson just committed to LSU this morning, becoming yet another 5 star pledge earned by Lane Kiffin's staff!!!

Battling vs Nebraska as the final 2 schools for Hudson, the 16th overall player of the 2027 class, the #1 ranked tight end, and the #4 overall football prospect out of the state of Louisiana (also the #1 basketball recruit, averaging 21 points and 14 rebounds during his sophomore campaign), Lane Kiffin's tight end development, and the way he involved tight ends within his offensive attack, sealed the deal.

Standing at 6 foot 7 with rumors that he may actually be taller than current Tiger tight end dynamo Trey'Dez Green, but much like Green himself, Ruston High's Ahmad Hudson stands apart as a mesmerizing athletic supernova, with gifts and abilities that could continue to push the boundaries of the position like we've never seen before...turning into a premier mismatch, once again supplying another superstar tight end from the state of Louisiana....

Not a state known for churning out top of the line tight end talent, Louisiana is starting to change that perception with a ridiculous slate of players who've signed with elite level schools over the past 3-4 classes: Danny Lewis for Alabama, Trey'Dez Green for LSU, and now Ahmad Hudson for the Tigers yet again.....is there a pipeline of elite tight end talents beginning to form in the Boot???

With prospects like Chance Archangel out of Westgate, Pineview's Brady Dubois, St Thomas More's Colton Lis, LaCobe Willis from Teurlings, and Rummel's Jeremy Robertson form a promising next few years for tight end recruiting inside the Boot.

We'll discuss that topic on the next LSUOdyssey LIVE!!!
