Iconic DBs Coach Corey Raymond has been hired by #LSU to return and serve in the same position he vacated back in late 2021.
After a 2 year (mostly unsuccessful) stint at Florida, the architect of #DBU is returning home to start anew under first year defensive coordinator Blake Baker and Head Coach Brian Kelly.
Raymond served alongside the Tigers' 2021 defensive staff with Baker at LBs Coach.
Raymond is an #LSU alum & won 2 separate national titles as a coach (2007 as assistant strength and conditioning coach under Tommy Moffitt & again in 2019 in what was a culmination of his years of elite recruiting, guiding top 5 pick Derek Stingley Jr to a historic freshman campaign).
From 2012-2021, Corey Raymond coached 16 Tigers who were picked during an NFL Draft, including four 1st Rounders & five 2nd Round selections, while sending numerous others undrafted into the league.
