On Monday, the father of former LSU Tiger Greg Brooks Jr told ABC's nationally televised Good Morning America that LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly had not seen or spoken to his son in 16 months, including the jarring quote about Brian Kelly allegedly not visiting Brooks Jr or even "picking up the phone" once since his hospitalization for a brain tumor.

On Wednesday during a called press conference on campus, LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly emphatically denied those allegations and offered his public support to Greg Brooks Jr.

Once again, Thursday arrived with another statement from Greg Brooks Jr's camp, this time his attorney releasing a press statement.

During this time, LSUOdyssey.com has spoken with a variety of trusted LSU players & coaches, some of whom are now former Tigers or have since left the staff:

Asking an assortment of program people "if Coach Kelly visited Brooks Jr during his hospitalization at Our Lady of the Lake?", before his transfer to Memphis for specialized care, LSUOdyssey received this answer that made us stop in our tracks:

2022-2023 LSU SAFETIES ASSISTANT Kerry Cooks (Greg Brooks Jr's position coach during & prior to the brain tumor discovery):

"He (Brian Kelly) did visit, multiple times I can attest to that!"

LSUOdyssey is in the process of clearing other quotes and images to provide the truth to this situation, one that has caused great division among LSU Nation.
