LONN: What's Coach O like Stacie??

STACIE: He has a strong personality, he’s very passionate for sure. He loves the fact that Ty is so physical.

LONN: Any cool recruiting stories?

STACIE: We would talk all the time (with Coach O), he would check in often... of course he came over to eat dinner with us, he’s very funny. I know he wanted to make sure no one would flip Ty... especially Saban.

LONN: Yes, I remember Saban being all over Ty.

STACIE: They were trying extremely hard... Saban was on the phone with him until 2:00 am the night before signing day.

LONN: Saban was desperate.

STACIE: He had his pick to choose from, but Tyrion has been wanting to play for LSU since he was 7 years old, he’s from BR, of course he’s gonna want to put on for his city!!

You know Nick offered him 1st... then LSU called minutes later after he left Alabama camp. My phone was blowing up whenever they thought he was near Alabama.

LONN: Wow...

STACIE: And just think, Ty could’ve jumped on the bandwagon and went with Nick b/c of his reputation and you know he was dominating, you know Nick visited my home as well...But Ty stayed home and never wavered.
