On January 4th, former Stanford and Hawaii receiver Jackson Harris became the first commitment & signing for Lane Kiffin's #1 overall portal class, immediately bringing in experience & production for LSU's decimated receiver room.

Last season at Hawaii, Harris led the Mountain West with 963 yards, 49 catches, and two conference-leading tallies in touchdowns (12) and per catch average (19.7), fully capable of being the complete package for the Rainbow Warriors:

Despite not having electric 5 star speed or outrageous measurables, Jackson Harris has what every LSU receiver was missing in 2025: good hands.

Harris constantly made tough grabs in traffic, delivered routine playmaking dominion, sporting sneaky pace after the catch, and was also a legitimate downfield threat for Hawaii.....

...however, another side must be shown: alongside his explosive third campaign last fall, Harris has only 86 total receiving yards and 1 single touchdown over two other seasons from his first collegiate stint at Stanford.

Plus, we haven't seen Harris do it in the SEC or a major conference yet....although, the fact he's kept 2 years of eligibility for dynamic growth, went head-first into the SEC gauntlet rather than entertaining any number of outside offers he received from other schools in less challenging conferences, you should like everything from Harris' moxy to Kiffin's evaluations here.

Due to the depth LSU contains at receiver right now, Harris could hypothetically take a season to fully catch up to the speed of the SEC level, yet, judging by his commanding 2025, it shouldn't take that long for the Bay Area junior to settle in...
