JAYCE BROWN

(WR Kansas State)

Among the most productive portal grabs for LSU, Jayce Brown has cobbled together just under 2,000 receiving yards (1,972 to be exact) for Kansas State, anchored by his walloping 115 receptions, 14 total TDs, and steady production & evolution:

From 437 yards, 27 catches, and 3 scores as a freshman to 823 yards, 47 catches and 5 TDs as a sophomore, then in his final year at K-State, Brown hauled in 41 grabs for 712 yards during just 10 appearances and 9 starts, matching 5 receiving scores from the year prior (while adding a rushing touchdown, as well as 161 total rushing yards on the ground).

Posting 5 games eclipsing 100 yards, (8 total contests over 90), Brown is a home run hitting, big play target possessing clutch hands and an iron mentality...making defenders miss out of sheer will & desire rather than pure athleticism.....

Interestingly enough (maybe only to me), Brown's profile, just under 6 feet tall and 179 pounds, his clutch play, the scheme versatility....all of those traits remind me a little bit of outgoing 2023-2025 LSU WR Aaron Anderson...

Torching DBs with his speed, route running accuracy, and scheme versatility (ability to line up and do business in the slot or on the boundary), Brown has excited many offensive coaches on roster, two who both told us about Brown with palpable excitement.

I have a feeling Jayce Brown will end the upcoming 2026 campaign as one of the top 3 most exciting and game-ready Tiger WR signings of the 2025/26 portal....maybe not a 1,000 yard receiver, but I guarantee, if injuries don't get in his way, he will produce key moments for LSU in 2026.
