As the scorching rays of the Louisiana SunGod, Ray Baker, continue to belt down, blistering heat slowing the brain function to a halt, with so many college football media outlets only capable of lists or ridiculous fluff posts, the demand for any kind of tangible material on the actual teams themselves is at an all time high.
Which is where we come in...
We've been pumping it out continuously, from 2024 profiles on LSU Tigers, each position group given an in depth look (if not multiple), with only one retrospective piece released during this time.
Since I'm expecting an incredible ride this season for LSU, an entertaining, nonstop wondervibe....all in front of Tiger Stadium's 100 year anniversary backdrop, we have organized our work accordingly, planning ahead further than ever before....deep into the fall for a variety of projects....we'd love to tell you all what each project is, but until these things are completed and ready to go, I'm worried about forecasting anything....sometimes our greatest stuff requires 3 or 4 false starts (interviews mostly), long negotiations or breaking the ice process (interviews), or even collapsing altogether before reviving 6 months or even a year later on down the line.....
Trust me, your patience is appreciated, but our patience on the other side of this fence needs to be Job-ian in order to pull off some of the stuff we have.....and sometimes, since becoming a father, there are days where the exhaustion, burn out & isolation of the nature of my work come knocking.
Regardless, we are pushing the envelope like never before. To make these things possible, my head is needed out of the writing "bunker" 24/7, and in the game of organizing on a far more massive scale than ever before....we've been running through a variety of options to take LSUOdyssey towards a new frontier....
Thank you for your help in spreading the work we do around like wildfire, it's been a pleasure to create for the country's #1 fanbase, and I'm looking forward to LSUOdyssey's biggest season yet & the greatest campaign of the Brian Kelly era thus far.
