During this wild recruiting weekend at LSU, where Brian Kelly's recruiting staff hosted seven 5 star prospects and over 30 top 100 athletes, things have been hopping in Baton Rouge.
As plenty of dinners and meetings between players, parents and staff continue, I feel LSU will only solidify their recruiting hot streak following their hard work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I've heard a potential four different prospects were impressed and may just be won over by this weekend:
DJ PICKETT
LSUOdyssey sources reveal 5 star CB DJ Pickett is close to locking things down with the Tigers' defensive staff.
His weekend visit only strengthened matters and I'm told it's looking more like "when not if" Pickett commits to LSU at this point.

JAMIE FFRENCH
The top 10 WR joined #1 overall QB and LSU commit Bryce Underwood for dinner and came away ffeeling (we had to do the double F's) particularly good about the QB situation and how he'd be utilized within the Tigers offensive set up.
I'd say wait a bit on Ffrench, but my informed guess is he's leaning LSU right now.

JAMES SIMON
Meeting up with fellow 2025 5 star RB Harlem Berry on campus, James Simon is another elite Louisiana back on Frank Wilson's radar.
Simon & Berry both spent extensive time with Coach Wilson, with the legendary LSU assistant nailing down the message:
The Tigers need running backs and can offer playing time.
Frank isn't alone: Harlem Berry is actually recruiting Simon as hard as anyone.
From a source close to the staff, the Tigers believe Simon's prior concerns over 2023's 8 RB room are now alleviated due to the transfers of Tre Bradford, Armoni Goodwin, and Logan Diggs, seeing a clearer path to the field in 2025 & 2026.

I like where things stand with Debose, a player who continues to reel in predictions for an LSU commitment.
Thanks to Brad Davis' proven development and loveable personality, I bet on him to bring in yet another Class A top O-line prospect, the #1 ranked interior offensive lineman in America.
