FALL CAMP Day 6
-Bernard Gooden continues his ascension with another TFL fest.
-Ashton Stamps is looking to be holding down that corner spot opposite Mansoor Delane.
-Jelani Watkins at punt returner.
-Bauer Sharp makes incredible TD catch through two defenders
-Caden Durham busts off 40-50 yard TD run
-Defense grabs 6 combined touch sacks & TFLs
-Jack Pyburn sack & TFL (wrapping up Caden Durham no less!) while leading a ravenous LSU front seven that stuffed a lot of plays today.
-LSU offense ran mostly running plays & more tight end-based 12 personnel formations, and yet couldn't quite sustain any push up front, only getting to the second level two or three times, the aforementioned 40+ yard run by Durham and freshman JT Lindsey bursting forth for 12 yards.
-Kaleb Jackson did.....okay....but it was a timid showing behind a weak looking O-lind, and Jackson could only grab a few chunks up to 5 yards on a couple carries.
-Davhon Keys will be good this year.
-West Weeks natural leader.
-Garrett Nussmeier sacked multiple times, threw poor passes, multiple PBUs on passes, and basically endured a hard knocks, rough em up kinda day.
-Tyree Adams was beaten for a sack on Nussmeier by Jack Pyburn.
-Paul Mubenga lost his footing and was beaten on a big backfield play, as well.
-DJ Chester dominated on a sack play up front by Patrick Payton.
-Payton, Pyburn & Reliford all had themselves one of their best collective practices of Fall Camp thus far, Kevin Peoples' edge unit firing on all cylinders.
-Harold Perkins was incredible for the 3rd straight practice, completely in rhythm now. He is looking like a new, evolved version of himself, grabbing an interception off Nuss last practice, before hunting down anyone carrying a football.
