-As first reported by this author, LSU running back Ty Davis-Price returned for the thud scrimmage today, getting some soft carries wearing the gold jersey, running routes with smooth precision for a guy staving off a "nagging injury" according to Coach Orgeron's recent comments.

According to Ty himself and his family, he's "feeling & looking good", with his recovery very close.

Though this was of course non-contact, it was great to see TDP out there in the offense again and looking spry, agile and moving with ease.

Remember, geaux back and watch his tape vs Florida last year...Davis-Price was about to run for 150-200 yards on the Gators that night...he had nearly 60 in a single quarter....

Also, congratulations are in order: Ty and his girlfriend are soon to be having a baby girl, due in June!

They announced this amazing news on Instagram with a cute beach photo.

CONGRATS TY!

I have a feeling this is Ty's season....

I just have a vibe he could Geaux Clyde on us all where he has that epic junior year.

We'll have more from the thud scrimmage as it comes.

- ALSO another piece of news LSU Odyssey is breaking (with the help of a very special source of ours):

LSU will attempt to "replace" Graduate Assistant Christian LaCouture with UGA Alumnus and member of the SEC Champion / CFP title game-losing Bulldogs team Carson Hall, a young up and coming coach / former SEC D-Lineman.

Though mostly a scout team guy during his time in Athens, Hall's experience is intriguing and Coach Orgeron will no doubt be looking for him to maintain & sustain that raging D-Line energy.

-Are You Serious Sports reported LSU DT Glen Logan was seen at Pro Day wearing a plastic protective boot....Logan seemingly out injured with a foot / toe / ankle problem.
