LONN: Hey B.J! How are you feeling going into the season? You're looking very good, lots of praise sent your way.
OJULARI: Thank you so much but I’m feeling really good going into the season. I trust my teammates and our ability. Our coaches have put us in the position to win. I just have to do my job as a defensive end and edge rusher.
LONN: What do you think about potentially playing against your brother if LSU faces Georgia??
OJULARI: Playing against my brother will be great. It's one of my dreams to compete against him on a big stage like the SEC Championship.
LONN: Who's your closest friend on the team?
OJULARI: All the D-line guys are close and we are a pretty tight unit.
LONN: What did you think when Coach O called you the team's "best pass rusher"?
OJULARI: I didn’t know he called me that cause I’m still learning a lot from guys like Andre Anthony and Travez Moore.
LONN: He said "you're the best on the team", my man he really did!! So wait, B.J: you descend from a Nigerian king and have a grandfather who was a Prince, how has your Nigerian heritage informed who you are right now as an LSU Tiger? We love that you're here.
OJULARI: My Nigerian heritage is big, our family history is phenomenal and I strive to live up to it. My parents are very hard working so it translated to me.
LONN: From Mike Watson, a die hard LSU fan and Odyssey Subscriber:
"B.J, since you played both ways in high school, do you feel you have an advantage over other edge rushers? And how?"
OJULARI: I think I do just knowing both sides of the ball. Not a drastic advantage but just a little more knowledge on the Oline but nothing nobody can’t learn.
LONN: B.J, I'm a big football (soccer) fan and love so many Nigerian footballers, guys like Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Moses, Victor Enyema, Ahmed Musa, are you into football (soccer) as well?
OJULARI: I always watch soccer from time to time mostly near World Cup time.
B.J, THANK YOU FOR YOUR CANDID AWESOMENESS! WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOU WRECKING QBs FOR MANY YEARS TO COME!
