LSU's official roster was posted on their web site today, ringing in the start of Spring camp and the beginning of a new era under Head Coach Brian Kelly...with an all new defensive staff for Year III, and plenty of first time Tigers, transfers, among other changed or notable additions, we wanted to point out a few things which caught our eye when scanning over the new updated 2024 roster.

There isn't many standout number changes, but there is Jalen Lee's move from 96 to 92, and there was one Tiger who was very close to dawning the #3 in tribute to former #3 wearing Tiger Greg Brooks Jr, forced from the team after week 2 last season when he was stricken with a cancerous brain tumor.

It's cool to see Baton Rouge native transfer safety Jardin Gilbert rocking Tyrann Mathieu's iconic freshman #14,

Also, what caught my eye immediately was the extensive bodies Frank Wilson brought in at running back: 4 different walk-on backs brought aboard the Tigers Spring roster.

There is more depth to the defensive line, 17 total bodies now, though it still doesn't fill me with the utmost confidence.

It'll be interesting to see how coordinator Blake Baker and DL Coach Bo Davis will operate their front seven in 2024...
