LSU v FLORIDA POSTPONED / MYLES BRENNAN IS ONE TOUGH MOTHA

As widely expected (due to 19 positive Covid tests and 10 isolation absences) the Florida Gators suspended all team activities yesterday....but today, the news came down at noon that LSU v FLORIDA will be postponed until Saturday December 12th....an absolutely bizarre happening that just feels like 2020 doesn't it?

For Tiger fans feeling angry, this may be for the best: we have a banged up defense just barely recovering from the ass-whooping vs Missouri & Miss State, an unbalanced / inefficient offense, and a team in search of an identity;

Meanwhile, starting quarterback Myles Brennan took a pair of nasty hits to his left shoulder during the Missouri loss (one clearly seen as he's running to the sideline during the 1st half). Brennan gutted through the pain, passing for over 400 yards & 4 TDs on the day, setting more than a few LSU quarterbacking records and remaining only 5 yards away from Burrow's 2019 tally through 3 games.

But did his warrior-mentality (we saw Myles duck into the injury tent for a spell) further intensify the injury?

We're not saying he should've come out of the game...he's waited 4 years for a game like that....a game where win or lose he's respected and acknowledged as a top tier, Grade A SEC quarterback....it would've been scandalous to bench him for anything less than a torn ACL, broken collarbone or 4 INTs....

Now, with an extra week of rest, Brennan should be healthy and ready for LSU's next opponent within the confines of Death Valley vs South Carolina @3PM....looks like Brennan should be getting more plaudits & respect from Tiger fans.

After taking that vicious hit by the red zone sideline, Brennan could barely rotate his shoulder to throw the ball....and yet only two plays later, Myles tossed a Terrace Marshall touchdown as he evaded pressure again.

Dealing with such agony, Brennan went out there and nearly led his team to victory...you can forgive the final play of the game now: it's most likely his delivery took a second longer than normal due to the pain and lack of motion (he had Terrace wide open for a second or two if he'd uncorked the throw, but from this angle turned to the right, his left shoulder would've been slowing his delivery down at least a little).

Tough as hell....

THAT'S OUR QUARTERBACK FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS...WIN OR LOSE...THAT'S MY GUY.
