With LSU's secondary, quarterback position, long snappers and complete group of tight ends now out due to Covid or other injuries, the SEC has postponed the LSU v Alabama game.

Despite Coach Orgeron's insistence on playing with depleted numbers and all, it was not to be...you could feel it in the air and especially on the wire (what I call the DM notifications on my phone from LSU Odyssey people all over the country).

This will be the first season since the 1958-1963 sabbatical without a Tigers v Crimson Tide showdown, a total tragedy no matter who you root for or how worried fans may have been in the lead-up.

The LSU outbreak stems from a Halloween party hosted by LSU players in the aftermath of their humiliating beat down vs Auburn.

Whether or not this was planned, the players just dodged what could've been the crowning disgrace in their beyond disappointing campaign thus far...

This LSU team, showing how invested they are....showing how much they "care" by celebrating in the worst way possible only two hours after our worst loss to Auburn (our second or third most hated rival)....by infecting or exposing half of the team with Covid 19...now making it impossible to suffer one more embarrassment at the hands of another Alabama-rooted rival.

Was this intentional??

Whether or not any of this was orchestrated, many of LSU's players appear totally disinterested in winning, especially the guys who already sport a ring from last year.

The fact we may have players on our roster who chose endless diarrhea over competing against Alabama is maddening to me.

Most of all, I feel bad for Coach Ed Orgeron...he wanted this game.

This is not the season he expected...in fact, the season of Orgeron's worst nightmares couldn't prepare him for what his program has been through this year....nothing can prepare you for this...

No LSU v Alabama...no Orgeron vs Saban...for the third week this season (including last week's bye week) LSU won't be playing football at all.

No wonder our upperclassmen don't feel like putting everything on the line (unless they're Brennan, Stingley or Cox)....the season could be gone next week anyway...

GEAUX to hell, 2020.
