Yesterday we witnessed some NFLSU Tigers absolutely taking over at the NFL Combine:

Not only did we watch as former Tigers Offensive Linemen, all veterans of the 2019 National Championship team and the past two seasons, went all out inside Lucas Oil Stadium:

Austin Deculus, Ed Ingram and Chasen Hines all posted fantastic 40 yard dash times, with Deculus posting 5.13 on his first run, beating it on his second with 5.12, but in the end, those unofficial times were topped by his official mark of 5.08.....extremely impressive from LSU's all time appearances leader.

Chasen Hines ran an official 5.22, a lot faster than I was expecting from him, and Ed Ingram, arguably LSU's best OL of the bunch, ran an official 5.02.....just incredible marks from our offensive linemen, young men who've been through it all at LSU:

The highest of the high in 2019, winning every game, dominating on the ground or through the air, winning the Joe Moore Award for best OL play.....but over the past two seasons, they've been through every known adversity a college football player could endure.......and here they are, giving everything on a national stage and making us proud (as well as making an increased chunk of change after these times).

Hell, even former LSU Tiger Dare Rosenthal led all OL in 40 yard dash marks at 4.88.....

But the most incredible, yet least surprising mark of the day?

LSU's 2021 1,000 yard rusher Ty Davis-Price, blazing past every other running back in the Draft, running for a 4.48 40 yard dash, usurping Alabama's Brian Robinson Jr (4.53), BYU's Tyler Allgeier (4.60) and Notre Dame's Kyren Williams (4.65) while ranking 13th among all running backs in the Draft.

Ty Davis-Price has been working relentlessly, dropping 12 pounds since October and preparing over the past few months for this moment.....and he delivered.

Cannot be more proud of Ty....a young man this site has been rooting for from the get-go....and last night, he didn't just add a few zeroes to his rookie contract, he sent himself to the top of the heap as far as running backs chosen first in the Draft.
