As rumors swirl about LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward's potential head coaching search, Coach Ed Orgeron still remains at the podium, showing off some "positive juice" during tonight's press conference.
But the truth is still unavoidable:
Coach O isn't going to be leading the team in 2022, there's just no way.
So, the question remains: when, Mr. Woodward?
While Woody has been known to let even winless coaches finish out their respective seasons, he understands he must remove the stench & stain of LSU's horrifying coaching on the sidelines, play on the field and Orgeron's flagrant behavior immediately...lest anymore harm come to the brand.
When could LSU have an interim take over?
I have one source telling me LSU's athletic department brass are making moves to have Orgeron's $17,000,000 buyout prepared when bye week comes around before Alabama.
Another source tells me LSU don't want to pay the buyout, due to his behavior and lawsuit involvements giving them a just cause case..but they're starting to think more legal entanglements is the last thing the program need. Private donors and other boosters have voluntarily thrown money at the program to instigate it all.
Could the ouster of Coach Orgeron happen in time for my 🎂?
The wheels are moving, just remember how recruiting affects it all.
Could it happen following a disastrous outing vs Florida?
Yes, Mickey Joseph, Corey Raymond, Greg McMahon or Steve Ensminger have already had discussions about their respective roles moving forward in case of a change...
Look for Woodward to lean on the old LSU guard, coaches who's value goes beyond the success or failure of their tenure and more about their service to the University.....Joseph, McMahon and especially Raymond beingncoaches who will more than likely stay on when the staff switch happens, while Ensminger is as loyal to LSU as they come.
I'm hearing there is unrest within the locker room in some circles, a few players who's departures will be announced or made evident soon; some guys are massively heartbroken about losing fellow teammates to injury, there's been some frustration obviously with a 3-3 record, however most Tigers are spurred on by Andre Anthony's players only meeting earlier this week.
We'll see what the Tigers can do on Saturday morning, perhaps in spite of their coaches.

SHOUTOUTS: JAAAAAMER!!!!
Thanks for the shoutout, Lonn!!
Add me to the list of the massively heartbroken. These players are dealing with not only losses in games and in team injuries. They have lost their fellow student/friend in Kevione Faulk. Coach Kevin Faulk isn’t there right now understandably, due to grieving his daughter’s death. So much loss! Kudos to Andre Anthony for showing the leadership to meet with his teammates. I’m praying these boys find a way to stick together through all of this. 🙏🏻💜💛💜🐯
