Saturday night was a moment years in the making....years in thewaiting for Erin and David Weeks, the two parents of three brothers born in the heart of Georgia country, to a father who played for the Bulldogs, growing up right outside of Athens, Georgia....with a former member of R.E.M as their neighbor....and yet here they are....20 years later....all three brothers, West, Whit, and Zach playing alongside each other 599 miles away at Louisiana State University...all three on the field at the same time, clad in purple and gold as Tigers....

There is always talk of the brotherhood between teammates, the bonds, the ties that bind....but what if your teammates were also your own blood brothers?

The Weeks Brothers know all about that, working up to this ultimate culmination: making history together as a family...

Marking a historic occasion on Saturday night, all three Weeks Brothers lined up at linebacker for a series, with freshman Zach registering a QB hit & pressure on 3rd down, senior West conjuring another stellar display (7 tackles, 1 sack on his final snap in Tiger Stadium, 1 PBU that created DJ Pickett's interception, plus his 7th tackle for loss of 2025), and middle brother / All-SEC honored Whit made his first return after 4 games out.....just for this moment.

All three brothers made history and gave the fans a glimpse at one of college football's rarest sights: Whit, West and Zach lining up alongside each other as the first trio of brothers to play on the same field, at the same time in LSU's long history.

DAVID WEEKS: "Last night was what our family envisioned before the Ole Miss game last year when LSU approached West about redshirting. The next day, Zach talked to Erin and I about skipping his senior year so he could play with his brothers.
When they were growing up, I knew Whit would get to play with both of his brothers but knew West would not play with Zach and vice versa.
Just so surreal to see all of them on the field together. Can’t imagine a better place for that to happen than Tiger Stadium. Tiger Stadium is just such a special place to our family!
Erin and I are just so grateful to be able to see the smiles on all of their faces after the game! The fact that they are all each others biggest fans is all we can ask for as parents!"
