After earning high honors at the JUCO level (leading Hutchinson to a JUCO National Championship with 9 TDs, 500 Yards and 27 catches), the pride of Jenkins High in Georgia, WR Tre Brown transferred to Old Dominion as a sophomore aiming to take one more step towards his ultimate destiny.

Pulling off an impressive sophomore campaign, Brown recorded 762 Yards from 38 grabs, handing him the 6th best yards per catch average in America (20.1), while consistently producing globetrotting heroics during 2025.

Though his touchdown numbers were low (the entire Old Dominion quarterback room only mustered 21 total touchdown passes), 2 of Tre Brown's 4 touchdowns went for tyrannical glory, hitting 98 yards and another of 71, proving he is fully capable of hitting it out of the park on any given play, making defenses walk the plank from long distance.

Among the more under the radar receiver signings from LSU's 2026 portal haul, Brown was pursued by most top programs, ending in a final two battle between LSU and Ohio State for his signature....and it's not hard to see why many view him as a prime candidate for elite trajectory in 2026.

Brown possesses all the minerals to become a true #1 WR for the Tigers, such is the depth of his athletic potential, combination of brute force and finesse after the catch, freakish releases off the line, and a penchant for contested catch histrionics.

Dare I say it, when thinking about what Brown could achieve in purple and gold, my mind begins to pulse with wonder.

Among a crowded 2026 receiving corps, Tre Brown could be the outlier...the talisman....the monolithic focus of Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis' aerial attack.

In what should become a growing opinion over the offseason ahead, I believe LSU hasn't had a receiver with a profile this complete, from measurables to on-field production, since Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr left campus....so it's no coincidence why some in the know analysts or fans expect big things from the length and strength of Tre Brown.

If utilized correctly and properly fed, a 1,000 yard season from Brown wouldn't surprise me at all...
