2026 OUACHITA DT DYLAN BERYMON TALKS LSU OFFER + GOALS W/ LSUOdyssey

Some days are just more memorable than others....and for one of Louisiana's top 2026 defensive linemen, Ouachita's Dylan Berymon, National Signing Day 2024 was a day to remember forever.

Though obviously not signing for two more cycles, Ouachita's prized DT received a NSD offer from Bo Davis and the Tigers immediately upon the ignition of the 2026 offer period.

Racking up 38 total tackles and 7 sacks last fall, it's not hard to see why Berymon was an instant priority for LSU's 2026 class.

Visiting just last month, the Monroe-born DT spoke glowingly of his time on campus, and now to top it off, NSD 2024 became a "dream come true" for Berymon and his LSU loving family.

In my quest to alert Tiger fans about all spectacular talents, we had to ring the bell....more than that, we needed to go straight to the source.

Ouachita's incoming sophomore spoke to LSUOdyssey on the record about his Tiger offer, Coach Bo Davis, when he'll visit next, and much more:

LONN: How was it getting an LSU offer, and on National Signing Day?

BERYMON: Man, it was exciting getting the offer, like man, you just don’t know how much this means to me!!

LONN: Tell me how it felt my man, lemme know! What does it mean to you?? And why is it so impactful for you and your family?

BERYMON: A dream come true, especially being from Louisiana. It’s close to home and the majority of my family are LSU fans.

LONN: Dylan, my dood, was there a particular favorite Tiger of yours growing up??? Or a certain guy you modeled your game after?

BERYMON: No sir, not really, it wasn’t nobody I looked up to growing up.

LONN: How long has LSU been recruiting you???

BERYMON: I say LSU have been recruiting me for about 2 months.

LONN: Who was it on staff that received the honors of verbally offering you on NSD?

BERYMON: Coach Bo offered me 😂.

LONN: How was that talk and getting to know him better?

BERYMON: It was good to be honest, he's really funny. Man, to be honest I was excited for the offer and everything in my head was going crazy at the moment so I really didn’t get what he said, I know it was good, though. He is a coach that knows the game and know how to get things done when it’s time. Coach Bo is the right coach for me and my family.

LONN: Did you expect that call from Coach Davis and LSU, like, were you feeling a vibe that an offer was right around the bend?

BERYMON: No I didn’t, I thought it was going to be a little while before I received the offer.

LONN: How are your folks doing with the big news??

BERYMON: They're really proud, especially my mom and grandparents.

LONN: As they should be! When are you hitting up campus next???

BERYMON: Uhh I don't know yet, I know I'm for sure coming for spring practice.

LONN: Have you ever been to an LSU game at Death Valley?

BERYMON: None at all, I always had the dream to play in it one day or go to a game.

LONN: What's your next goal in mind to cross off the list?

BERYMON: To walk across stage with my diploma.
