....one more shocking final (???) twist to the De'mond Williams saga.....

....after a firestorm frenzy was ignited when he walked away from a previously signed 4 million per year deal, and following threats of legal action by Washington alongside days of contact with LSU, the Washington QB will incredibly return to the school....

That means Lane Kiffin's LSU is in a real scary situation here....losing out on Brendan Sorsby, Sam Leavitt and De'mond Williams, while DJ Lagway just committed to Dave Aranda's Baylor and Trinidad Chambliss has publicly pledged his intentions to return to Oxford in 2026, where is there left to go for LSU's quarterback situation???

At one point, it felt like LSU was riding high, possibly holding their pick of the litter, but after a series of missteps (including the misfire, disconnect & public humiliation given to Sam Leavitt and the half measures spent pursuing De'mond Williams after starting a complete frenzy with the program's participation in Williams' legal or not so legal / short-lived departure from Washington)...

Now, the options are running thin for Kiffin, Charlie Weis Jr and Joe Cox to pursue, and a dangerous situation for LSU's competitive future in 2026 is beginning to arise....

LSU must address the quarterback position now....not only needing one strong quarterback, LSU need 2, more responsibly 3....this is a situation that has been completely flipped on its head, from local Louisiana podcasters saying Williams was already "theirs", and now the news is breaking that Williams will unthinkably return to Washington....wild.....

....something nobody thought could be possible, even if he wanted it to happen has indeed happened....and the result???

LSU is left with very little option at quarterback, a ruffled, nerve wracked fanbase clutching for blood, and a whole lot of bad optics & lowdown tampering accusations to deal with....
