Following Whit Weeks' successful Monday morning surgery on his broken fibula, LSU's star linebacker actually has a chance to return towards the end of the season if all goes well with his recovery. The Texas game was suggested to me as a hopeful return date, by father David Weeks.

As I reported the injury on his broken leg yesterday, the prospects looked grim, with most believing his season was likely over, but there was a slim chance for a postseason return at the end of the year, and now, that is what LSUOdyssey is being told by Whit's father David Weeks.

So, get those fingers crossed and let's hope the young man can return at some point.
