LSU starting linebacker Whit Weeks was absent from recent practices due to an operation repairing scar tissue in his ankle, a source told LSUOdyssey.

Weeks also underwent an operation on the same ankle in January. This latest operation on his scar tissue was expected, planned, and Weeks is aiming to return "next week", a contact close to the story said.

Thus far, Weeks was not a full participant in team drills during Spring Camp, and we should continue to expect much limited participation from the All-SEC LSU linebacker.
