The worst news possible for anyone remotely connected to LSU as well as college football fans in general:

LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier went down with an unspecified non contact leg / ankle injury that is believed to be serious at first, Nuss was helped to the locker room by teammates at one point, as well.

I am hearing Nussmeier will be fine, as he didn't suffer any significant damage despite early worries.

I am trying to confirm a few things before reporting what I have fully, but you'll be the first to know right here....just pray.
