COACH O PREVIEWS SPRING GAME ON "OFF THE BENCH"

With hosts T-Bob Hebert and Jacob Hester at the helm, our renegade former Tiger kings at the 104.5 throne, Coach Orgeron joined the boys for a wild interview talking about expectations for LSU's upcoming Spring game, "bringing back The Fridge" as T-Bob said and who has impressed most throughout camp.

COACH O ON QBs:

"...for a lot of positions, especially QB, that won't be decided 'til the end of camp..."

COACH O ON SPRING DAY WISH LIST FOR SPRING GAME:

- Wants them to win their 1 on 1's

- No pre-snap penalties

- Execution on defense / trust techniques, he talked about how once a young player excels, they begin to forget their technique.

- He wants energy out there from everyone

COACH O on Anthony Bradford:

"...If you look at it, 1 on 1, he's probably our best blocker...."

COACH O on OL:

"Shanahan, Charles Turner, Marcus Dumervil are one snap away from going in there & playing. Lemme tell ya now, Garrett Dellinger, senior graduate from Michigan, has been a great player for us & I can see him getting some playing time as a freshman."

COACH O ON A GREAT SCRIMMAGE SURPRISE:

"You know who really had a good scrimmage on Saturday? I'm really excited...Soni Fonua. He's a JUCO player, does everything we ask him to do, so i'm excited to see those guys show out."

COACH O on Spring Game plan:

"We're gonna give everybody equal reps w/ the 1st team, even Garrett he'll get a shot w/ the 1st team."

COACH O on red zone physicality & new plays:

"We got some big men in there; you might even see Anthony Bradford OR Kardell Thomas @ fullback. Then Dare Rosenthal at TE, & get really big on the goal-line...& getting physical."
