⭐⭐⭐⭐ TE 2023

Pulling into LSU Ops and staying through the weekend on his first visit, highly prized TE Mac Markway was excited to join LSU from the second Brian Kelly and Mike Denbrock rejoined forces in Baton Rouge.

Mac understands Kelly & Denbrock's success with sending Tight Ends to the NFL, and following his early commitment to LSU, he believes that same "Notre Dame offense" will continue at LSU.

If reports from members of LSU's staff are to be believed, Markway may be well on his way to an NFL future:

Possessing maturity, character and a stellar brand of production, staff members told Jordy Culotta Markway "could start for LSU right now".

Just like current Tiger Mekhi Wingo, Markway is a former player of Robert Steeples' at De Smet High School; Immediately "outta the gate", Mac has close connections and a "familiar face" in Steeples, however he also received plenty of attention and prior recruiting from Brian Kelly, his TE specialist son & Brian Polian at Notre Dame, setting the stage for an SEC-led turning of the tables.

Mac already believed in Kelly's ability to maximize his skill-set toward an NFL ascendancy, now he's even more hungry & eager with his favored Head Coach already establishing his roots at an SEC powerhouse.

Markway is a legitimate near 5 star talent in my opinion, possessing a number of high quality offers, coaches in pursuit and teams still recruiting him hard, regardless of his LSU commitment.

With another official visit set for June 17th at LSU, Markway just can't get enough of Baton Rouge right now, as Kelly's staff make sure to roll out the purple and golden carpet for their prized 2023 commit once again.

Couldn’t be more excited to get such a talented TE from such a fertile territory in P&G. He looks to have the complete physique and skill set to excel.

Did not know that. Hopefully, it is simply a past issue. 🤞
