RECRUITING UPDATES FOR AZAREYEH THOMAS & KAMARI WILSON

by LONN PHILLIPS SULLIVAN

@LonnPhillips

- The race for Kamari Wilson, 2022's #1 safety, seems to be a three way race:

UGA seem to be in the lead, although I'm hearing their grip is slipping very quickly due to LSU's renewed charge over the past 36 hours....however, next to LSU & UGA, Florida is emerging as a likely destination.

My info is all over the place with Wilson, but one thread continues:

Wilson is very interested in LSU, and with information i received over the past 12 hours, I can't count the Tigers out no matter what I'm told.

Wilson has an interest in playing alongside Jacoby Mathews or 2021's Sage Ryan, nor is he afraid of any amount of safety depth on roster:

He's told my source "I'm not scared of competing."

Wilson is also attracted to Texas A&M to join the SEC candidates:

- UGA are losing their lead.

- Florida are emerging

- LSU are still in a strong position.

NEW PREDICTION:

FLA 45%, LSU 30%, UGA 25%

- S Azareyeh Thomas enjoyed a great weekend at The Opening, taking photos alongside Tiger greats such as Derek Stingley Jr, Eli Ricks, Jarvis Landry, and Devin White, meeting these Tiger heroes and having a great time.

Corey Raymond is recruiting the versatile DB as a cornerback, so don't be fooled by the safety tag.

Enjoying a birthday today, 7/6, Azareyeh could make his commitment known at any time from here on out.

I expect Azareyeh to be LSU's third CB commit, rounding out a standout group which already houses ODYSSEY 5 star Laterrance Welch and JaDarian Rhym.

This is a recruiting year where the news, updates and change in momentum / destination direction will be almost nonstop. Bear with us.

We'll be supplying the best and most accurate info as it comes.

Things are gonna change.

Remember, this process is a marathon.
