LSUOdyssey reports:
Among the highest rated prospects of LSU's 2026 class, Hattiesburg 5 star WR Tristan Keys is set to flip his long standing Tigers commitment over to Tennessee.
For the second straight cycle, the nationally accepted home of Wide Receiver University will lose a commitment from the #1 overall rated receiver (Dakorien Moore in 2025).
Without Keys, Cortez Hankton's WR room is still impressive thanks to high 4 stars Jabari Mack and Kenny Darby leading the way (both are complete aerial artists who possess almost every attribute you'd want from a player), but the expected loss of Keys is another massive loss on the recruiting resume of Cortez Hankton.
Hankton is a longtime LSU offensive assistant who, much like Joe Sloan & Brad Davis, receives plenty of criticism despite being a Louisiana native, providing a sense of stability at the position, wearing a National Championship ring from his time at Georgia, and sending multiple 1st round receivers to the NFL over the past 5 seasons.

However, following some big misses on the trail regarding elite top echelon receivers, many LSU fans are beginning to wonder: is Hankton having trouble getting top prospects to the finish line???
